Walking through different parts of Nepal is the best way to experience the country’s unbeatable combination of natural beauty and cultural riches. The immense contrasts in altitude and climates support an equally spectacular variety of lifestyles and flora and fauna. You will walk through picturesque villages inhabited by diverse ethnic groups, pristine forests of juniper and rhododendron, and accompanying you throughout will be the icy pinnacles of the Himalaya.

To trek in Nepal, you need to be reasonably fit, possess a spirit of adventure and not be intimidated by the prospect of having to walk. Meeting Adventure takes care of all required arrangement like government permits, air/bus tickets, guides, porters, food, tents, and equipment. All you have to do on the trail is to concentrate in putting one foot before the other. On many popular trekking trails you can also trek in that is known as "Tea House style" eating and staying in the many lodges that line the trail instead of camping in tents.

Trekking is possible at any time of the year depending on the destination you choose. The most popular seasons are February to May and September to November. Winter is very cold above 4,000 m. and high mountain passes may not be negotiable, but trekking at lower altitudes is possible. During the rainy season from June to August, there are possibilities of trekking in the pristine rain shadow areas north of the Himalayas like Mustang and Dolpo since these places are unaffected by the monsoon.
